Daniel Lavelle, LPC
Daniel is a seasoned mental health counselor with over eight years of experience and rapid professional advancement in the field. He specializes in evidence-based therapies such as EMDR, IFS, and CBT, and offers Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in collaboration with Journey Clinical. In KAP, Daniel conducts the psychotherapy while the medical team manages eligibility, treatment planning, and medication.
Passionate about exploring consciousness and healing, Daniel also volunteers at the Johns Hopkins Center for Psychedelics and Consciousness Research as an archivist, deepening his understanding of altered states to better guide clients in their personal growth. He earned his Master of Science in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University, graduating with honors.

Rooted in attachment and existential-humanistic frameworks, Saman focuses on emotional awareness, nervous system regulation, and meaningful insight that leads to real-world change. Saman provides a collaborative, intentional space that blends deep reflection with practical tools to support long-term healing, growth, and resilience.

Danielle Strode, LMT
Danielle is passionate about supporting women’s health and specializes in Mayan Abdominal Massage and Yoni Steams. As a holistic practitioner, she helps clients reconnect with their bodies, release stored tension, restore balance, and nurture the nervous system.

With over a decade of experience in Human Resources, relationship building and customer services Shabnam is here to support our new team members smoothly transition into the practice, explain the HR system and employee benefits, and help new counselors understand our supportive and collaborative work culture.

Laura Gao, Accupuncturist
Laura brings over seven years of clinical experience as A Virginia Medical Board–Licensed Acupuncturist and NCCAOM Board-Certified practitioner. Laura helps people with emotional stress, trauma, anxiety, energetic imbalances, chronic emotional fatigue, and sleeping disorders. Laura's acupuncture techniques have helped clients enhance willpower to engage in trauma processing with their therapist.
